how long will it take to get my photos after my shoot?
i tend to have a very fast turnaround time, but remember that turnaround time will vary based on the length and complexity of your shoot. generally, you can expect to have your photos back within 2-5 days.
what if i need to reschedule?
i am understanding of unexpected conflicts that may get in the way, but i ask that you cancel at least 5 days in advance. of course, there are a few exceptions to this. if you cancel less than 5 days before the shoot, you may be subject to a cancellation fee. in the case of inclement weather, we will reschedule, and obviously, no cancellation fee will be charged.
how many edited photos will i get?
this is something that we will negotiate based on the type of shoot, length of session, and your budget. it's hard to give an exact number of photos that will be delivered, but we will discuss this so you know exactly what to expect!
do you instruct for posing?
yes! i understand that being in front of the camera can be a little awkward or intimidating, so i will definitely give you guidance if you'd like. over my years as a photographer, i've learned many little tricks to achieve natural and genuine poses without it looking forced.
will you retouch my photos?
i do basic retouching on all photos taken (for example, getting rid of pimples or blemishes). however, if there is something specific you'd like me to retouch, please let me know. retouching is a very intricate process, therefore, additional charges may apply.
do you offer prints?
currently, i do not offer prints. however, you are more than welcome to get your photos printed at a third party company. for quick turnaround, walgreens offers good quality prints at a low cost. there are also thousands of online stores that can deliver amazing prints.
how will my photos be delivered?
i use a website called pixieset to deliver photos to my clients. you won't need an account to access your photos, but you will be asked to supply an email and password (that i will supply) in order to protect client privacy. you can easily download your photos from here, and your gallery will remain on my website for 6 months, and then it will be removed. therefore, i recommend you download ALL of your photos and keep them on a hard drive so you can access them at any time. if something happens and you lose access to your photos, you can send me an email and i will help you regain access, as i always keep a copy of final photos.
what forms of payment do you accept?
i accept cash, checks, venmo, and apple cash. checks can be made out to Madison Nguyen, and my venmo username is maddynguyenphotography.
pricing will vary based on complexity, length, number of locations, and number of photos delivered. generally speaking, i charge $100 per hour of shooting, with an additional cost for the number of photos delivered.
below are a few examples of pricing:
a one hour long senior photoshoot session with two locations and 25 photos delivered would cost around $225.
a half hour long creative/editorial shoot in one location with 15 photos delivered would cost around $150.
a one hour long family photoshoot session with one location and 10 photos delivered would cost around $125.
